I ordered the Highlander anime last week and it arrived over the weekend. I wouldn’t quite put it up there with VHD and Ninja Scroll, but it was a good movie. The storyline could have been done a little better. It seemed like it was just the same thing over and over(flashbacks of Colin out for vengeance… same fight again and again). As a fan of action movies, I still enjoyed it. Yoshiaki never fails when it comes to artistry and action. I wasn’t able to follow the movie as well as I would have liked with the wife bugging me during half the movie, so I’ll probably be watching it again sometime this week when she is not around.
